Breakfast at Tena`s in Myrtle Beach

Food was very tasty it just took awhile to arrive at table. When I went to restroom server was sitting down playing on phone without checking on us and restroom floor had huge palmetto bug laying in floor. Also took over 20 mins to pay . So while server was kind and basic needs were met eventually I was not super impressed

Breakfast was great buffet style and had something for everyone great prices and very nice and friendly staff!!

We (my family of 8) ate here for breakfast and we all were please (even my picky brother lol. The staff was very friendly! The cook was very accommodating. She took 4 orders at once and got them all correct. She was very friendly and provided small talk also (which can be rare at times). The owner (I’m assuming) was friendly as well. She came around collecting our plates and also made small talk. The food was awesome!!!! We left full and everything tasted great. I would definitely recommend this place if you want a chill atmosphere, great food, and even better customer service.

Epic fail!!! Came to the pizza buffet only because we had just gotten into town and it was across the street. I've gotten the $1 Totinos pizza from Walmart that had a much better flavor. This place served a thick crust with barely a thin coating of some red stuff, cheese(?) And then a few pieces of other toppings. $12 for adult and $6 for kids. Ripoff. Wishesd I had used American Express so I could have done a charge back. Staff was not very attentive, and when asking for refills, I could have gone down to street quicker. I just have no more words to describe to anyone reading this, just how bad this was. Maybe with a quote from the movie Forrest Gump,"RUN FORREST RUN!!!!!"

We are locals they did not know we were locals the first morning we were there the man who was supposed to be cooking all he did was heat up old leftover food the food was absolutely horrible and disgusting we decided not to go back the next day but our last day there we went back and we had a cook who was a lot better she made the eggs fresh the staff was really nice but the food needs a lot of work the place needs a lot of cleaning and updating the grills need cleaned the grills are filthy and makes the food taste really horrible

We visit Tena's every year we visit the beach, we were very disappointed this year the food was just ok, not as good as the previous yrs..

Got up, walked out.....

Service is really really bad, the drinks that we ordered were water down. The place was empty and it took for ever for us to get our food.

Locations of all buffet items are scattered throughout dining room making it difficult to find food items. Had to walk through large crowds to get everything you needed. Condensation dripping from ceiling onto tables. Food was ok. Lady cooking made to order items was excellent.

Wait was a little long, but the food was worth it. I waffles were great along with the bacon, sasuage, hashbrowns, and eggs.

This was included with a package we got at the sea mist and it was the worst Buffett I ever had. We waited 20 mins after we got there for them to put eggs on the Buffett and they were spoiled. I took one Bite and almost puked. The staff barely undertstand English also.

Can we say probably never again. We have been eating here for years everytime we stay at Myrtle Beach. This year (2019) was the worst experience. You can tell the management has changed. The nice lady who used to cook the omelets and waffles is no longer there. This place is not worth your money. We tried Lannys Buffet and it was amazing.

Please don't waste you time or money here. The food is bland. The hostess was dry and didn't smile, explaining how the restaurant buffet works, since this was our 1st time. The place is dirty and unclean. From the buffet area the tables, floors and plates and that grill hasn't been cleaned properly in months. Only pork options on the bar. The grits didn't have any taste along with the shredded potatoes. You have to go up to the grill to place certain orders. In the corner of the grill was a bucket of dirty grease that says Grill Grease. So when she went to make my pancake and eggs… she reached the brush in that grease and I was done for. We left, didn't ask for a refund, because they were already rude and looking like they didn't like their job or appreciate customers. I don't recommend anyone to go here. Go to ihop, Friendly's or anywhere but here and $9.99 for a little breakfast buffet with very little options is not worth it.

Pretty good breakfast. Good variety. Omelet station isn't very clean. If you stay at sea mist resort and get the bed and breakfast package, it's totally worth it... but if I was paying I'd go somewhere else.

Always a great breakfast buffet. Family enjoys eating breakfast here together. Plenty of room. Friendly staff. Biscuits, Gravy, Bacon, Eggs, etc., etc.

No food on the breakfast bar. It took forever to get clean plates. Would only eat there again because it's free.

If you plan on going make sure you get there early. The line was out of this world. The food was just like any other buffet style breakfast. It was very convenient to our hotel room.

I Want to rate this ZERO stars. This place is part of Sea Mist Resort and was recommended by the welcome packet, although anyone can eat here, no one should waste there time.I will never go there again. Buffet was expensive and didn't have much. You have to wait in line for what seems forever for the one person cooking pancakes and eggs to serve you. Staff was rude and didnt care about anything. WASTE of TIME. Do yourself a favor and go to MAMMY'S KITCHEN down the street. Your welcome

Don’t usually write reviews but this first time experience was bad. Eggs were green, the bacon was burnt, and the biscuit gravy was cold and this was on 3 trips to the buffet. Told the lady at the register and all she said was “2 out of 100 people don’t like the food today.” Got my full refund and will not be going back

Servers can't understand anything you tell them, poor and slow service! Only one cook but LOTS of orders..!
